Can I duel the bot when it's donePosted on 26 July 2016 - 01:04 PM
There was a thread before suggesting the developers to make something like this. No one thought it could be done. gl man!Posted on 26 July 2016 - 03:07 PM

My stipulations would be -
1. Players cannot lose points from the bot.
2. Players will not lose ranked game count from the bot the bot wins.
3. Players could only be matched up with it a few times a day
4. I would have to make it immune to GCheat
Ofc 1-3 wouldn't apply if it was only ran in unranked.
This is always something I've wanted to do but never had the time to do it.
My comment would be to get something working and then we can talk about it more.

It can detect zombies in a small walled room, move toward them with a speed that isn't too bad?, and kill them. It doesn't yet know how to jump up if there is an increase in floor height. But yeah I'm at the point rn where I should either go to some smaller soup-havin server and duel someone, or just duel someone on here to work out the whole process for souping and debug it until it's good. After that, it could pretty much fight someone with the degree of skill maybe an 8 year old would have if they played a lot. It's coming along lol.
Edit: Here is a video of what it can do so far. Not the smoothest! lol, but it's only been like a few hours of programming, so yeah.

Keep it up this is looking good ^_^Posted on 27 July 2016 - 12:29 PM
If you take away your bot's sword, and add a weakness effect to it, you may be able to gather data on longer fights. Having your bot do little to no damage will increase the length of fights, better reflecting the scenarios you might find in an actual iron soup match. If you have problems with image recognition, trying different texture packs may help. I'm guessing you used an extreme pack in your video, with all textures except the zombie being black.

Great idea, I can't wait for it to be done and I hope it will be allowed, I hope when it is done I have a chance to vs it, good luck programming, I can't imagine being this good at coding, you are talented, I know nothing about coding. ;P Good luck!Posted on 27 July 2016 - 01:40 PM

^this is good. Also try against iron golems. Have you got the souping script set up?

I have it set up to be set up lol. But yeah I think the souping part won't be too big of a deal. It'll check its hearts fairly often and remember what soups it has eaten or clicked into the hotbar from the inventory.

do less dmg so longer fights– Yeah that's a pretty good idea. ty!
textures all black – yeah das what I did X)
edit: Yeah I honestly just have a memory leak issue with GetPixel from win32gui. If I can resolve that, which I'm sure I'll resolve it soon, this is gonna be really cool and I'll be able to do a lot.
