Block-hit
So, I'be been trying to time the w-tap between my hits, and it's kind of starting to work. Sometimes it deals great knockback to opponents, and other times it doesn't. Maybe someone could link me to a good keystrokes video? Another thing, is that I've been having problems beating blockhtting players. They always just come at you in a straight line, and get crazy hits. Anything you guys use to beat blockhiters?

You have to strafe against block hitters and try to time your w taps more precise against them. Once you have a combo in them they're screwed.

Thanks for always responding on my threads whenever I ask questions about PvP. I know they seem really obvious to you good players, but I just don't really know, and am eager to learn. My gold is to reach Gold I by the end of the season, but I don't if I can do it. :/

Block hitting works the same way as w tapping does, it breaks your sprint and you don't take as much kb. So think to yourself, how do you defeat a w tapper?

Thought about this for a long time, but I honestly don't know. You can strafe blockhitters but not players who w-tap correctly.

just turn around to get out of the combo, and restart it.
w-tapping isn't a strategy that makes the user invulnerable, it just assists them in getting hits
you can also w tap them back to get back into hit range and knock them out of the combo

If its in build my strategy is as soon as your opponent gets the last rod in and you know you are gonna get comboed by w tap or blockhitting put lava down and let it flow for a few seconds then pick it back up this will :
slow your opponent so he wont be able to get a combo + deal abit of damage + force them to water down so they cant get hits but you can.

Important tip dont pick the lava back up the second you place it if your opponent is an experienced player he will use that fire to take less damage and combo your ass off. Letting the lava flow will prevent him from sprinting towards you and deal damage at the same time so he doesnt have any other choice but to water down.
