Yeah I was one of the biggest supporters of this season. But now that I'm actually playing it I wish I wasn't; the knockback is actually pretty bad. I always wanted to side with Badlion and support it, but if it were to fail me I'd lose all hope. Yes, I know the devs put so much time and effort into making the knockback perfect, but when "perfect" is fighting someone and neither of you are taking any knockback then it seems a little broken. I know some top players did test the knockback but I really hate it, and I'm pretty sure everyone who gave a good opinion of it had ~50ms or below. I hate to say ping affects knockback, but it does… it makes you take it faster. And when faster means taking miniscule amounts faster, then yeah, it's pretty broken. Matchmaking - I keep getting paired with Emeralds, which should be happening, but either I'm just shit or the leaderboards didn't lie to me. I've played a grand total of two ranked matches after getting out of the qualifying matches, and guess what. I've won once and I've lost once. I gained 13, lost 11. I shouldn't have gained nor lost; the way you described it before was about streaks - I haven't had a positive or negative streak yet. I blockhit a shit ton. As described earlier me and the other person were blockhitting within a block of each other. Again, both of us were taking almost 0 kb, and w-tapping is a thing I'm working on.
I still support Badlion and its decisions, but this knockback and rating system aren't the greatest. In beta the knockback was smoother than a freshly paved road. Now it's like the road in Cars after Lightning McQueen tore up the road with a statue (I think it's a statue from what I remember LOL). I know that the devs are on it, but for right now, I'd say just revert the kb to what it was in the beta, or even just plain vanilla. I don't see what's wrong with vanilla knockback, it helps catch people using modifiers pretty easily.

-1 to beta kb there was too much. I've been on vacation so I haven't played with the new kb for a while but if it is a little low then a nice middle wouldn't hurt. I remember w tapping working way better than block hits so try w tapping.Posted on 01 August 2016 - 09:43 AM
Dear Badlion, I was playing on my alt about 2 weeks ago and I got glitched on a block while playing BuildUHC. I thought if I were to quickly logout I would be able to take away the glitch. When I reloged I was glitched in mid air and I couldnt move. Right about after, GCheat thought I was hacking and perm banned me. I honestly claim I was not hacking. I would never hack on Badlion because of the great community and the awesome pvp. My alt was DarkKnight5476.If you get a chance to respond I would really advice you to look at that glitch and please support me and unban me.

I agree with you and the kb part, but I pm'ed Gberry earlier and he said they would be pushing out some changes to the kb, and that it should be live in a couple of hours across all of the networks.

I have 70 ping and I quite like the kb.
