OCN is a dieing server with only a tiny fraction of Badlion's size, but their forums are considerably more active and interesting than the Badlion forums, and I think it's primarily because of OCN's use of a "What's New" page. The "What's New" page on the OCN forums is essentially a page where you can see all threads from all subforums. This makes it so you can keep up with all parts of the Badlion community, and discussions will last longer because more eyes will see interesting threads. it will also significantly help with spam and repeat threads, since threads with actual discussions will remain on the front page, while spam/repeat threads will fall to the second and third pages after a couple of responses.
