The current rating has nothing to do with ELO as they are two completely different systems. Therefore transferring ratings to ELO or vice versa wont work properly and is pretty pointless anyways. In ELO the rating is transferred from one player to another for example I lose 15 and you gain 15. In current system I can lose 20 and you win 18 or something similar to that. In ELO you can win a much higher rated opponent and make them drain a lot where as the current system will try to place you in a match with somebody with similar rating and if you make one mistake and lose to a lower one, it will not punish you as much but the winner will gain more because they won a higher ranked opponent. Yeah the matchmaking makes it very difficult to convert elo to mmr. I'd say that players who were 1400 are now going to be Silver III/Silver IVPosted on 02 August 2016 - 01:11 PM
