Advanced was a great ladder that helped people practise their mid range and close range skills. Some people who dont understand the bow game will think that Advanced UHC and UHC are basically the same ladder but they were so different in s12. UHC had infinite arrows making the matches long range and mid range based. Advanced had limited arrows which forced people to come closer in order to waste less shots. Advanced having no absorption changed the whole gapping concept.The bow also does alot of damage so swordrushers wouldnt be able to rush as easily. If you count the amount of bow ladders and melee ladders there are FAR more melee ladders. It seems like badlion is trying to remove ali the bow users. Instead of removing bow ladders why not add some? Bring back Advanced UHC

Build - Hybrid
SG - Hybrid
Diamond - Hybrid (bow plays a huge factor)
Iron - Bow
UHC - Bow
Archer - Bow
Horse - Bow
No Debuff - Melee
Debut - Melee
Vanilla - Melee
GApple - Melee
Iron Soup - Melee

I still think there should be slightly more melee than bow

Finally someone else that understands just because there is a sword in a kit it doesn't mean it's a primarily melee based kit.

In Build and Diamond, Sg too I guess, almost all of the time the bow will be almost disregarded. If you play Diamond, you'll notice only "good" people will use the bow to inflict damage for whatever reason. The bow plays little part in most Build fights.
Your point still technically stands but in terms of gameplay it can be argued about.

I'd gladly replace Iron with Advanced but that's never happening

In diamond and build the bow can do a ton of chip damage that adds up to a bunch of sword hits. In build if you hit all of your shots you could do up to 64 hearts of damage which is probably enough to kill your opponent and in diamond you could do about 10-15 hearts with the bow and if you're good it could give you the upper hand in a match. In SG the bow does a ton of damage and plays a big factor in the outcome of the match. I'd prefer for iron to stay over advanced but advanced was still a very unique ladder that could maybe come back another season.

If you check the build or sg leaderboards can you see any bow gods on top of these lists? Its always someone who is a melee god. This list is really biased for sword users Imo. If you can call build and sg hybrid same applies for iron and horse (in horse it is so easily to swordrush) but I see your point. Btw this was supposed to be about bringing advanced back , the list is just a side thing. The way I seperate bow ladders from sword ladders is if 1 player is good at sword and the other one is equally good at bow. Who would most likely win the fight. Would it be a close fight or would one dominate the other?

you're still looking at this from a very technical standpoint. The bow COULD do these things, but most of the time, they don't. That really separates bow from melee kits.

In SG and Build bows play pretty huge factors, and especially in Diamond for knowckback. Build you could use bow for knockback, and since you get a stack of arrows you can shoot many times. SG the bow is probably even more important than build. Having 8 arrows you really need to conserve your shots and play smart. I don't think badlion is trying to remove the bow kits, and really Advanced and Regular UHC were pretty much the same thing. Nobody really uses a stack of arrows in one game or you're just wasting your time imo ~_~

If you read the thread you will see that I pointed out the difference. I would assume you are not really into bow kits. Check the leaderboards and tell me if danteh , tylarzz or gaxriexz are on top of the leaderboards cause of their bowskill. Gaxriexz did a road to 2400 without bow and achived it proving build uhc matches can be won without the bow. If he made a series where he didnt use the sword I dont think he would even pass 1900

people treat bow as a primary, it's a secondary. sword is the only primary.

if there was a lava only ladder you could kill people with only lava

lava = primary??

its up to badlion as to whether archer is its own ladder, doesnt change it being a seecondary.
