Unranked Queueing system?

Does anyone know how the unranked queueing system works in Arena Pvp. I am silver 1 in build uhc and I am fighting a lot tougher opponents compared to when i was silver 3 in the unranked? Does this mean your ranked rating will affect who you fight in unranked?Sorry if this is confusing just wanted to know for general knowledge <3
