Get rid of the matchmaking… It takes too long to find a match to play for the Asian/AU/SA servers cuz there r much less players there compared to NA/EU…

It does, it takes forever for a Gold player on Asia to get matched. This is because there are so few players around the same level, and the command "Range expanded… " doesn't even work. So a Gold player can only play with Gold player…

@Tommy145 Regardless if the rating system, was elo or mmr it would still be the same. The queue system works by matching players close to your skill level. If it was elo, you would just get matched to people around your elo, and it would still take along time. Also the range expanded thing does work. When it says "range expanded" it doesn't mean you will now only fight people that higher or lower then your skill level. If a player your skill level joins, it will match you up with him.

Actually its a bug. The video shown is a bug/glitch WHICH I HAVE! I went on my alt (Gold 3) and easily got matched with other Golds, Silvers & Not Placed players. I'm going to submit a proper detailed bug report on it soon.

The new matchmaker takes smaller regions into account. It is in internal testing at the moment.

Yes I know that range expanded means you will fight people who are weaker and stronger, but the priority is players who are nearer your skill level. But it doesn't work. I tried it on a ladder no one plays(rarely played on asia) e.g. NoDebuff : I was Gold V and my friend was Silver III and after 5 minutes worth of "Range Expanded"3(and no one else joined the ladder) my friend and I didn't get matched and we were still stuck in the lobby waiting.
