How to s-tap?

I believe I know how to stap from kevstah's 10k tutorial but can someone give me one in depth? Like should I bend the finger that's holding w down to stap or use a different finger?

What do you mean? That's exactly how it works, you let go of w, and press s real quick so you stand still and your opponent wont be able to hit you for like a really short time, then you press w so you can hit him again, and repeat

I was one of the first people to start S-Tapping even before anyone heard of W-Tapping lol. I watched a video way back in 2012 about some dude doing that to PvP, as the point would be to try and hit your opponent and then quickly go away from him so that he wouldn't land hits on you. The reason that's S-Tapping is because when you let go of W you are standing still in one position until you hit W again to move forward. If you hold W and then hold S at the same time, it's the same thing as just letting go of W. It literally isn't doing you anything. S-Tapping makes you go further away from your opponent. That's the point of it. Not to try and stand in one spot when you can just let go of W and it would do the same thing for you (what you're talking about at least).

Watch kevstah's strapping tutorial on his 10k special. He specifically said "PEOPLE SHOULD NOT LET GO OF W" I also made a pvp guide with stapping instructions similar to your's and got called out so hard

Well that's not how you S-Tap, the only reason you're getting called out is because of the 10k beans that are subscribed to Kevstah. The way I said is how you actually S-Tap, if you don't believe it not my problem.

I'm Vykz if you didn't know, you know someone who's been playing this game longer than Kevstah and knows the PvP mechanics better than any other player on here? Not including Devs of course. And all Kevstah has to do is hold W because of his ping, why do you think he got the highest elo again? Oh yeah he used the block hit glitch, you know the one where you don't even have to block hit in order for the block hit to actually work. And when he does block hit he'd take even less damage. Yeah yeah you know everything dude! Props to you!
