I was thinking if the amount of arrows we get in the UHC 1v1 be changed from infinite to a stack of 64. Not many people when playing UHC actually get infinity arrows, so it would make sense to only give them 1 stack. It would also prevent people from standing there just spamming arrows non-stop while the other person is rushing.Posted on 01 September 2014 - 04:03 AM
Oh god….-Considers how my fights with What_The_Spork & Preamblee went bow wise-
-1. UHC is unique in the aspect that its the only not pot ladder with an infinity bow, making it bow-heavy just like normal UHC. To elaborate on your arguments:

First of all, @seano you've only played in ~50 UHC matches on badlion, and I've never seen you in a real UHC, so your opinion on UHC isn't very… legitimate. UHC is extermely bow intensive and almost everyone who plays it wants to bowfight. Because of this, we bowspam because we don't want to get in a melee fight. If you want to melee, head on over to diamond ocn or vanilla.Second of all, having only a stack of arrows would make people have to melee in most matches and like I said, most people would rather not. I think badlion would lose a lot of real UHC'ers if this is changed.
This is just my input, but I have a LOT of badlion UHC under my belt

The UHC ladder would need a ton of changes to be like an actual UHC fight. You would need to be able to place/break blocks, use water/lava/F&S, and the maps would need to be much more like vanilla terrain. If it were to be like this, limited arrows would also make sense, but not very limited. The best players usually go into fights with two stacks or so. Basically, if you're going to ask for one thing to be like an actual UHC fight, then you should ask for all of them :pI think the UHC ladder has a ton of potential. If they could get block placing and breaking added, and have different setups for each game (sometimes you both might have power 2, sometimes you both might have sharp 2)it would be amazing IMO.
The UHC ladder currently in place is definitely fun, but it sure isn't UHC. As for the original suggestion, if nothing else will be changed, I don't think limiting arrows makes sense because UHC is a bow heavy gamemode.
