Hey.. So this is just a quick rant. So I was online today and there were 3 or 4 staff members on, good right? Yeah… No. People are just spamming ,saying ez, and hackusating all over. And what does staff do? Nothing.i get it.. They play the game and its a big server. Ik that you can miss some stuff here and there because I'm staff on a sever as well. But cmon .. ATLEAST try. Also please get some more staff … We are lacking staff .. When I'm on there are 400 people and 0 staff members… Its insane chat is just filled with hackusations..please fix this… Thanks

Maybe you could mind your own business. Maybe the staff have their chat off when they PvP. Maybe the staff are afk. Maybe they're helping someone else. Maybe they're trying to spot a hacker. @Vortaa thing is they are talking in chat while all the Hackusates are happening. And if they applied for staff, they knew they had to be dedicated enough to not turn their chat off. If they wanted a break they wouldn't be playing the game.Posted on 01 September 2014 - 12:45 PM

Do you understand HOW HARD IT IS TO BE STAFF ON A SERVER THAT HAS 500+ PEOPLE ON AT A TIME DAILY?! It is ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT THINGS EVER. They can't really do anything when they are in a match. They are playing, just like you and me. When there's 500+ people on, theres at least a hundred people bitching and moaning that someone's hacking and the Staff need to check out these people to see if they are actually hacking. Chat will always be filled with hackusations. People don't understand that just because someone is better than them doesn't mean that that person is hacking. If they still go beyond the filter and bypass it, shame on them. Because when they do that, it enables the hacker to know he's probably going to get watched by a mod and to turn his hacks off. Whereas if they didn't bypass the message would cancel and it would explain why the message wasn't sent and to make a /report so a moderator can check him out.
Back to the beginning, the staff is going to miss things. It's Human to make mistakes. This staff work's their asses off 24/7 to keep Badlion a good community, and obviously it's working. So please don't come on here and trash talk our staff. Our staff may be one of the best ever in the minecraft community. And our staff is staff for a reason. That reason is because the admins believe that these people can keep the badlion community a good community. Without them, the entire server would just be a big cluster of hackers, spammers, hackusaters, etc.

Ok I get what your saying.the staff that actually goes on are good. But staff aren't even active when there is 300 + people on. Some are really good , they should know who they are.. But others i never seen on.Posted on 01 September 2014 - 01:49 PM
Unfortunately Matheus there's truth to what you're saying. I would consider us short staffed, especially with school/jobs starting for a lot, and not to mention about 30 staff got demoted for being useless a few weeks back. However, I definitely agree that some mods just still are not putting effort into their jobs, and these mods are giving the entire staff team a bad image, because there are quite a few mods who truly dedicate hours on end for the soul purpose of moderating, and this isn't fair for them, nor is it fair to the playerbase. What if you didn't have a break? Badlion staff would go crazy. Same thing IRL, you would be starving because you've had nothing to eat. Hope you get what I'm saying right now.
Point is badlion staff deserve breaks too, and if you think it's an easy job to be a badlion staff, you're wrong.

Lol I'm pretty sure sitting in an air-conditioned room, munching on chips, and drinking a Pepsi isn't the hardest job in the world. Not even by a long shot. Sure moderators have to deal with people, but EVERYONE does. Not to hate on these "Minecraft Volunteer Jobs" but we have to get real. Trust me, when you get a real job serving actual people, and getting PAID for it, you'll re-think why people even joined the staff team.

Nope, it won't make you re-think it at all. I joined staff well over a year ago for the purpose of helping out the server. I know I'm volunteering, and I know that it is sometimes appropriate to take breaks. Having had "real jobs" before, my outlook on this hasn't changed one bit.
