Questions for the pvp gods
1. Does cps actually matter all that much? Like, as you can get around 6-7 cps can you still compete at a higher level? How 'bout jitter clicking, does that really help all that much?
2. How long did it take you to get as good as you are? (going by season 12 elo cause some people haven't gotten to the level they should be at in the new season)
3. If a person with like a 70 ping fights someone with like a 30 ping does the 30 pinger really have that big of an advantage?
Thx for anyone who answers the questions, I really appreciate it.

1. Jitter clicking is overrated, you will be fine with 7cps. I got 1900 gapple last season with 6-7cps.
2. Not to act like I'm a god, but I have been playing for 3 years and I am decent.
3. The 30 ping player will obviously have an advantage, but if the 70 ping player has more skill they can still easily win.

1). Jitter clicking does matter actually, if anything it's underrated and if you understand minecraft mechanics you'll know why. @Badware can also elaborate on it better than I can.
2). Playing since July 2012, got into pvp August and I guess I got good around late 2013. Started auto clicking 2014 stopped 2015. Did help improve my aim tho.
3). There's really no "skill" in minecraft. If the 70ms player can aim better and strafe better, then he'll win. That's not skill, it's just basic gaming sense. All it takes to be good in this game is a relatively high cps (around 9-12), good aim, and good reflexes. That's it

I'm not that much of a god but I'm decent so ye

1. CPS has a decent impact on pvp because hits register way faster with high cps, ~7 is good enough to get you by though.
2. It took me about 6-7 months of badlion to hit my s12 ratings.
3. There is minimal difference and the most skilled player will win the fight. Having high ping just requires adjustment and timing.

cps actually matters way more in non speed ladders as opposed to speed ladders for whatever reason.
If you can, you should try to achieve a higher cps anyway, nothing bad can come out of jittering except for sacrificing some aim

1. Having 6 CPS is good enough however I recommend 7-10 CPS. Jitterclicking matters but has a good effect only if you have a good stamina and can time yourself more so you don't get pain. I get 6-9 CPS and it's good enough although having an even higher CPS would most likely give me more advantage. Jitterclicking affects me but not much.

2. Already 3 years of mineman pvp. Started from SG, then also PotPvP and lastly UHC PvP. I never have played any HCF or UHC to get good though, I just kept playing ArenaPvP and Practice servers.

3. 30 ping won't have a big advantage against a 70 ping. 30 ping will probably get slightly quicker hit registeration but not to the point the 70 ping can use it as an excuse if he/she lost. If the difference between the ping of players is a 100ms then there'll be a noteable difference, and whoever has a 100ms better than the other player will have a 'big' advantage. I'm Asian and live in Asia so I get 220-350ms on NA and I had Gold 4 in GApple. The reason I went on NA is because the Asian Region has no players playing Ranked GApple.

Though you have an advantage once your ping goes above ~120 because you basically teleport around and take delayed kb. If a good player is given delayed kb they're nearly unbeatable in pot, extreme lava and rod spam can counter it in build though.

1.the only thing cps matters for is increasing the amount of double hits(and when your hit would register its pretty random just like cps is unless your getting 20 its set and not random on how it will register just chances are the faster you click the more chance your hit will register before your oppenent unless ur ping is high asf) and the chance of you getting them and the registration of hits since like if ur constantly clicking and they are being knocked out of your range and you dont have a click at the exact time they are leaving your not going to get a hit but if you have like a constant 20 cps which is the max that registers server side not player side (when u get like 5754 particles from macroing 55487 cps)
2. just learn how to time w taps get descent aim and decide your playstyle
3. no ping doesnt mean shit all it does is decide the registration of hits (how they come into play) unless you are both one hit and charging at each other ping doesnt really matter i mean as long as its under 100 its fine and even if your in the 150 range you can still be good with delay kbed and taking advantage of it but i would still much rather have non delayed kb than delayed kb. but ya between click speed interfering with registration of hits it doesnt really matter

No… The rod delay is EXTREME, the Bow is unusable, the lava gets glitchy and delayed… It's a FAR much more disadvantage. I was Gold 3 on Ranked BuildUHC playing on the Asian Region with good ping, after that I got this glitch/bug: https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/130905. I got impatient so I went on NA with horrible ping. I can't counter bowspams and my block placement are very much delayed. I dropped from Gold 3 to Silver 2. Luckily I managed to get it back up to Gold 5 at least. Remember people. The lagger is always having a harder time no matter how annoyed you get fighting him/her. Try playing BuildUHC with 250-350 ping and you'll see that its 2-3* more difficult than playing with a 5 bar ping. All ladders are more difficlut with laggy ping, I've experienced it. Teleporting everywhere isn't an advantage either because if you teleport everywhere you'll most likely be ghosting and get ghostkilled…

1. Jitter clicking by itself doesn't matter, what matters is cps, if you are able to click 8+ cps witout jittering you should not jitter as it only can destroy your aim.

2. 1 year

3. If you are about the same skill level it's 51% win for him 49% for you
