As we grow at Badlion we have many growing needs. One of these needs is to keep maintaining and growing the Badlion website. We are looking to have someone dedicated to this position on Badlion to help us to continue to design and program pages.Job Description
The developer will be responsible for making pages on the Badlion website from start to finish. The developer will be responsible for making the design of the page, making it compatible across all browsers and platforms (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, [Not Internet Explorer], Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, etc). The developer will be responsible for creating the HTML and CSS stylesheets required along with any javascript needed to make the pages functional. The developer will then need to program the back-end logic to make the page access the full website framework such as user's being logged in, submitting and retrieving information from the database, etc. The developer will also be responsible for fixing any bugs/issues that arise from previous website development work or their own development work on the Badlion website.
This is not a full time position and does not include any benefits. The applicant does not need to be located within the United States to apply for the position. The pay will be determined based on the applicant's qualifications and amount of time that they can commit to the project. Depending on our future needs it is possible that this part time position could turn into a full time position, but at the moment it will remain as a part time position.
Qualifications
Applicants when applying for this position should have the following qualifications as a minimum:
* 1-2 Years of full stack development including every layer (HTML/CSS/JS/Python/SQL)
* 1-2 Years of responsive web development (Desktop and mobile compatible websites)
* 1-2 Years of Python 2.7 development
* 1-2 Years of JQuery experience
* 1-2 Years Year of some MVC or MVT framework (does not have to be in Python).
The following qualifications are an added bonus and will raise the chances of succeeding in the position:
* 1-2 Years of Django or Pyramid framework experience
* SQLAlchemy experience or another ORM database library.
* Knowledge of NoSQL systems and how they work
* Knowledge of Git
* Knowledge of Redis
* Knowledge of UNIX/Linux
* A passion for Minecraft and to make the best competitive PvP Server ever.
