First suggestion:
/day and /night

Second suggestion:
Show not placed players on the leaderboards so they fill up better and it's not 10 people on the kohi and vanilla boards

First suggestion:+1, although /day and /night can be accomplished with the TimeChanger mod by Fyu (linked below) and other things are way more important for the developers to focus on.

Second suggestion: -1. Originally seeing this, I thought showing qualifying players on the leaderboards would be great. However, it seems that this goes directly against some of the main ideas of MMR: you don't have to grind to get a high rating, but all the first 20 matches are important and changes to your rating slow down after then. I don't think that MMR would be remotely accurate after several matches, and there was probably a lot of thought that went into the decision for a 20 match qualifying period.
