To give a quick explanation, I spent ~50 hours implementing the new rating system and matchmaking system last season due to the bitching about the ELO system. Now we are back to square one where people have ELO anxiety, and at this point since the community is just too small, I don't care. Fast matches w/ possible horrible matchmaking, this is what YOU GUYS has chosen.
As you can tell from the quote above, I am extremely frustrated that I wasted so much time building something that got completely 180'd because no one wanted to change even though everyone was complaining about wanting change.

I wrote a big thing up about how disappointing it is you don't have the playerbase to keep a great system, but I got distracted and accidentally deleted it.You still have the code for the improved system, and maybe after some time potion will advertise more players and you'll be able to re-implement it.

Alright alright, I know im gonna hear it, forum digging. I dont mean to bring back dead threads and/or complain about the elo system. I like the current elo system we have now, but since badlion had become more popular you are able to implement the rating system you once had. I liked both. I dont know, just a thought because badlion has become much more popular.

But it's also gotten more ladders @ShinigamiI don't necessarily have many problems with the current elo system except for that fact that it still has the +/- 0 elo transactions from games.

There are still multiple ladders where I it takes some time to find a match at all with the current system, while there are 750 people on. I find that although the playerbase grew, there aren't many more people playing ranked.

FYI, we still aren't big enough for this to work. Need like 3k+ potpvp players for these algorithms to be useful.
