New frustrating numbers to get mad over…For real though, this season's rating system is way better than S13, honestly I think it's the best of both worlds.

I love it so much. It feels so much easier to get from one rank up to the next. Plus, you can actually track your progress.Now, all we need is that meter on our forum profiles…

I like it but today I waas fighting a guy then he started bowspamming me so I walled up (everyone would wall up right?)then he told me to stop walling.
I stopped walling then he started bowspamming me again. Then I walled again, the guy said "cancer" in chat.
then he used all of his arrows and killed me.

When you only get +3 for your next win, please note that the other +whatever you would have got carries over to your promo match (if you win it carries over to your next rank, if you lose it gets calculated into your loss so you lose less)
This is unlike most other systems in the world, where points are typically thrown away
This also happens with your demo, but in reverse too

What what happen if when I was at 997, I got a +200 win, then got a -50 loss in my promo match? I would have lost my promo match but I'd still be 147 points into the next rank.

You basically forfeit any points you still have, so you would lose any surplus and get set to 999. I thought about allowing double promotions like this, but that means I would have to allow the reverse, which brings in double demotions.
