UHC Arrow Amount.
With a limited stack of arrows (wether it be 64/96/128) the ladder becomes a lot less one-dimensional than if you have infinite. If you're about to run out of arrows you're going to have to either try to get your opponent to waste their arrows or force a close range fight. I'm more of a long range archer, but this type of kit involves a lot more strategy, so I can't say I dislike the change. I don't think changing the amount of arrows to 96 or 128 would hurt the gameplay.

tl;dr infinity: nah, more arrows: sure

Essentially the argument here is whether UHC should be a long range kit or a medium-short range kit. Thing is, we already have a medium-short range kit (iron) as well as a kit that highlights both skills. (although with a lot more gimmicks - archer) I support infinite arrows.

+1 infinite arrows is the best they should've never changed it

+1 I've been playing UHC ladder for quite some time now and the fact that it is just a stack of arrows now makes it a game of "Who can conserve the most arrows".

Infinite arrows allowed a lot more mistakes and some really good long range fights.

100% +1 This was one of the ladders that truly represented bow skill, people who think everything has to be based around sword are ignorant and overall make me pissed off.

How is 64 not enough for an iron based 18 max heart ladder? (10 hearts + 2*2 from apples + 2*2 abso hearts)

UHC is supposed to be one of the four bow heavy ladders, but if you want it purely bow only you got Archer.

People strafe/dodge the arrows, drop arrows(incase u dont know what it is u make a jump and shoot the least pulled back arrow and jump again to a different spot really fast to dodge) or just simply dont shoot fully charged arrows, Id like the kit to have 96(stack and a half) because that way u can do some good long range fights, especially when 2 really good bow players meet( doe and hivlik) they will have to force short/mid range as they can shoot out stacks of arrows in long range and not win, more skilled bow players dodge the arrows more than the usual 1400/average bow player, hope this cleared something up

But archer is speed 2 (or speed 1, correct me if I'm wrong), UHC is the only purely bow based ladder that has non speed, and I know you could say iron is like that, but read what Hivlik said. UHC is more for long/mid range, where you can have long bowfights (nonspeed), and with iron you have to conserve your arrows and you may have to go a bit closer as well to make sure you dont miss (also a bit more melee is involved in iron). By changing UHC to 64 arrows, it's effectively making UHC into a second iron, there's literally no differences because you now have to conserve arrows.. but with enchants. idk I personally loved the old UHC, not sure why it was changed, just my opinion tho

the average amount of shots do 1 heart and theres 18 hearts , so u expect us to hit a quarter of are arrows? theres also people who use silly tactics to make you waste your arrows
everytime i go in a match i worry about losing all my arrows and what to do if i do
play around 10 uhc games and you will see

if you cant have a long range fight its not really bow 'heavy' its like your giving us a set range in a 'bow ladder'

archer is speed 1 and has enderpearls , i dought in any uhc scenario someone will be fighting someone fill leather punch 2 bow speed 1 and enderpearls , so archer isnt a really realistic ladder
uhc and iron is the only realistic ladder and iron isnt a bow 'heavy ladder' when you have 32 arrows and u regen so you can easily make the match into mainly all sword
so basically you took are only realistic bow 'heavy' ladder away.

Hivlik described it as iron ocn + and that's basically what it is now. You can't afford to do long range against anybody slightly above average because long range strafing is so incredibly easy.

They want to bring the sword into this , but they forget they have build , pot ladders , sg , diamond and all that

only shit players with the bow complain aka @Arrowless because they dont have the brain span to play a different ladder
im also starting to think they did this to get melee more popular on this server just because the bow comunity isnt big

the uhc ladder has been fine for seasons and 1400s who suck at bow and admins who have never played the ladder make a drastic change and just make the uhc ladder from having a good time to worrying bout how many arrows you got , in every fight i literally have to worry about that…

Yo chill, first of all ik there is a lot of ladders but u are trash talking with no reason

Any decent player can dodge arrows from a longe range which makes UHC a medium-shirt range ladder, so basically a more advanced iron ocn. They're far too similar and I personally think UHC needs more arrows, maybe a stack and a half or two stacks.
