Australia community manager
I really love Badlion, I almost play everyday… but this really needs to be said.
Badlion has historically been terrible for AU community communication, management and treatment. When there are server issues (very frequent) there is no fuss on the forums or TS, I dont know if this is because staff don't care or if the staff don't even find out until its too late to mention anyway.

The server has lots of downtime but no one ever says anything, no explanations are ever given and no one cares. The general consensus among the competitive community that notice is not good, most people quit out of principle due to how second class AU is and all the features that have been stripped. I dont jnow how the scene is in EU but PvPlounge looks like it will kill a large portion of NA when it finally releases and there is a new practice server that is coming to AU that I think will finally make me quit (again).

Kohi was nice to us, we had everything we wanted and then some. We had great hitreg, awesome forums that we could display our stats on and actually get somewhere on the leader board even though there was like 200 of us, we had prplz and cigarette and heps etc. The server was awesome and community was awesome but on Badlion I cant tell a mod that the hit timing needs fixing, they know. I cant tell a mod that the server is lagging, they know.

We need an AU manager, the community here is neglected af and everyone is just quiting, the situation is three times as bad in Asia but like thats gonna change .-.

We need a prplz to come on AU, say something cancerous and have the ability to fix stuff that only affects us. The server box lagging out and all the other bs that only happens on AU. We need the manager to stick up for us when big decisions come around and rep for us when we need something like regional leader boards or allowing us to Proxy Asia

I think he just does GCheat and admin stuff then, not anything to do with the community per se.

What exactly would a "community manager" job entail?

In some of the AU HCF/Prac communities players are scared of GCheat and the moderation team(non-cheaters mind you).Players I have talked to on Minecorner have basically told me that they don't trust the staff as they are "UHC randoms" "all my friends got kicked" meaning they don't trust that UHC players will understand what kind of skills are used in Pot PvP, possibly creating false bans, spreading false information about pot and other issues related to mis-information. I have actually met a few staff on Badlion AU and many of them may be UHC players but generally they still do play all kits, have played potion for years and have just transitioned to UHC.

A community manager would need to actually tell people the facts because there is lots of misinformation about how the staff system works in this region as much of the time there are no moderators or staff available at all. Not that AU is some sort of wild west but for New Zealand and other surrounding countries they sometimes see no moderators at all unless they join a UHC, which are generally hosted at ridiculous hours for them too.

The AU kohi server was extremely small and remote which made it very quirky and disconnected from the US/EU communities. Badlion AU is not like this, it feels very connected to the US and global servers which many have also disliked about coming to Badlion.

There are countless other issues that are AU specific and there needs to be a staff member willing to actually notice these problems as more than annoyances for individual players, but rather as legitimate reasons people are starting their own practice servers where they have control over their own experience, moderators are available and people who understand AND play PotPvP are the ones making decisions about PotPvP.

I just listed a bunch of different problems that different people have told me about in the past few months, all of which I believe will be completely new to any Badlion staff aside from the ones who are playing PotPvP right now. The AU community manager should take these issues and give them some weight as realistically in AU we cannot demand changes in the same way US and EU can as they have a much larger player base, potentially they could host petitions with thousands of signatures, boycotts or many more hypothetical situations where they use their size and numbers to gain attention. We cannot do this so when players can't voice their opinions and even if their ideas are agreed by a large percentage of the AU community it may not be enough to be officially recognized as they actual number of players is small.

Finally I would just like to stress that I only talk so much about the Pot community as that is where I come from and many of the issues I am seeing personally come from the PotPvP side of things, an AU manager would have to find the problems plaguing the AU UHC community and other sub communities as well.

Well we do have problems on NA and EU not as much as AU and AS, but AU and AS are very small communities and 1 year ago lots of people played AU but not as much anymore, but we do need some more AU staff there's not much, honestly you guys just have MaccaTacca otherwise a couple more, I think Badlion does need more staff around the AS and AU area

Not specifically an issue to do with AU but one that could very easily spread over due to terrible communication.

+1. This community just needs to get a grip as a whole. The staff, admins, owners and the players. Not all of the problems in this community are admin-created/based, but theres just a a lot that needs to be fixed and done before Badlion starts to move on to different things. It's like having loose nails in your floor and then standing on it to build the house.
