So i would like to bring the attention of you today about how much ddos happens over this game. Frankly it is against the law and multiple people do it and will continue to. Is enough being done though? I understand the circumstance about the fact that it is very hard to catch them, I just want you as a server to be able to do more. Such as seeing players packet loss and where its coming from. Today i ddosed in both uhcs i could play on au. I just want to have a fun experience with the game but such players ddos over it. I don't know much of your own procedures about how people get banned. I suggest that people be blacklisted. I also would like the communities ideas on the topic and what we can do to get rid of the ddossers and the people benefiting off it.Posted on 28 August 2016 - 05:41 AM
All your "ideas" and "suggestions" are nothing more than fantasies. I don't think it's even possible for a server to directly look at your packet loss and then trace where it's coming from and from what source, and even if you do somehow manage to trace it back to the source, the IP is going to be spoofed anyways so I don't see what the point is. Yes DDoSing is bad and a federal offense and kids do it because they want to feel superior in the game of legos. You really can't do anything to stop them other than call their parents and tell them to get their kid off. Blacklisting them won't stop the DDoSing.Your idiotic actions get you in a place where you can be DDoSed. What do i mean by that? You join random TeamSpeaks, give your Skype away, open fishy links, etc. and all these things can get you in the wrong place. One way to stop it is obviously to get a new Skype and get a new IP as well, and to stop joining shady ass TeamSpeaks. You're responsible for being hit off, you shouldn't complain about it because it was your own fault that you got here.

@BluecrayyonPeople DDoS just because they think there cool and will never get caught, but your coming from AU which there are a couple of well know players that do DDoS in your community, just I would recommend doing this
1. Ask your provider to change your IP
2. Get an alt
3. Don't go on sketchy TS servers or share skype or accounts
4. Don't talk to really anyone unless your good friends with them
Getting back on track here, Badlion can't "detect" DDoSing where they live and where the came from or the source (the botter) but just report it and get your router logs and put it in the report, it would probably show where the packets are coming from with the IP. Just do that
Good Luck
