Posted on 28 August 2016 - 11:11 AMi was thinking about how the rating would be converted into elo and i thought so on season 12 you started at 1400 but on kohi/practice u started at 1000 so i assumed for this season it would have to start at 1000 because if u started at 1400 silver 5 would be 2k elo which can't be right so lets say you started with 1000 elo which would be bronze 5 bronze 4 would be 1100 bronze 3 1200 bronze 2 1300 and bronze 1 1400 due to the fact that it is easier to rank up from bronze. Once you get in silver it gets complicated for the fact that being if we continued this pattern silver 1 would be 1900 which doesn't seem correct. so i was thinking silver 5 is 1450 or so silver 4 1500 silver 3 1550 silver 2 1600 and silver 1 1650 and etcetera for gold, emerald, diamond. the way the points would work is since its out of 1000 and the elo was out of 100 you would have to divide it by 10 so if you were silver 4 with 300 points your number elo would be 1530 so in conclusion the way you can find your numeric elo is by dividing by 10 for your points and going by the pattern of the ratings to elo below.
Also i was thinking about it and since archybot said that the only two people to reach master on season 12 were dante and tylarzz and there elo were 2.7 and 2.8k each so i took that into consideration thats how i came up with it becoming a pattern of 50 once u reach silver.
