^ currently if you are banned you cannot use the forums at all I believe, except for the appeals section.if a person is banned and has a question concerning their punishment/crime/etc, they're forced to ask it in their appeal and staff won't see it a lot of the time (for example if it's accepted no one gets any alerts on the appeal)
I've already had to carry messages to admins from banned players a couple of times
so my suggestion is to allow banned users to use the forums or atleast be able to send messages, if they abuse it they get a forum ban.

Well if they are banned they should always make a appeal about your ban because all a staff member will say is make a ban appeal if you make a post the like General Discussion etc.Posted on 02 September 2016 - 05:05 PM

So long as only admins have the ability to forum ban, I do not see something like this happening. They can easily communicate with staff through their appeal. Once an appeal is accepted, then there should be no reason for staff to have to intervene with the appeal. It is already a done closed case. And I know for a fact that if banned players could message, then every day I would be waking up to easily 10-20+ messages a day of spam BEGGING for unbans and such.
