i am the only emerald 2 in nodebuff, and that means i can only queue up with gold 2's and up (there are not many people that are gold 2 or up) UNLESS some other person happens to wait 20 seconds to get a forced match. please make some sort of feature where if you're in a ranking with a low concentration of players, your range is increased so you can have an easier time fighting players. i hate sitting there looking at "2 players queued for nodebuff" (one including me) and then some other person joins and they get into a match and it starts all over again. takes me 5 mins to get into matchesPosted on 04 September 2016 - 07:04 PM

It's all relative. Hivlik, you're an Emerald V in build. Do you find a Gold V to be a "noob" relative to your rating? Most likely so, and because of that, he does face "noobs". It's a tough call though.

definitely, but im not trying to make it easier to grind noobs. i just want to actually get into matches without being forced to play a ladder i dont want to play. i cant even ask people in global chat to queue with me because they just queue with each other l0l

But after 20 seconds your matchmaking blows open to any player right?

yea but two players both have to wait 20 seconds to get forced with each other. by 20 seconds, the other player gets queued with someone else
if i wait 20 seconds and someone joins queue, i wont get into a game. the other player has to wait their own 20 seconds without anyone else joining the queue. THEN i get forced into a match. you can imagine how rare this is

I feel you dude, same problem in AU.
After 20 secconds YOU can queue with anyone but they also have to be in they queue for 20 seconds before it forces you into a match.

there would be a second range, say i dunno bronze III to diamond III has the feature you came up with. that gives a broader range for people like me waiting forever but you arent consistently fighting people way out of your league
