I can barely get past silver 1 because i get a solid 50 fps when i fight. And before you say '50 fps is good', i have a 120hz monitor. So 50 fps feels like 20. I'm getting a new pc for christmas.

6700k

1070

16gb ram

I'm not only gonna play minecraft, but play cs:go, overwatch, terraria, record, stream, etc. So tell me if i need to make changes.

1: how many times do you change your name

2: depending on your monitor refresh rate, fps could feel like something else. I need 120 fps to feel like 60 on my monitor. You guys probably wouldn't understand though if you have 60hz monitors.

No, 60 fps is the same on all monitors. You may be used to 120 but our 60 is the same

If you are going to be editing use 16 gigs of ram other wise 8. most of the time 16 isnt needed.
I would get a i5 6600k instead of 6700k
You should save a little bit more and get a 1080

No it isn't. I personally have a 144hz, and when I'm getting 60 FPS it feels horrible (my pc doesn't drop to that, but if I lock my framerate to that).

I have a 960 and I get 300fps while recoding with shaders :P 1070 is fine
My CPU is a lil faster but should be good for 1000+fps on good practice servers, 600-900 on here.
