I can barely get past silver 1 because i get a solid 50 fps when i fight. And before you say '50 fps is good', i have a 120hz monitor. So 50 fps feels like 20. I'm getting a new pc for christmas.6700k

I'm not only gonna play minecraft, but play cs:go, overwatch, terraria, record, stream, etc. So tell me if i need to make changes.

If you are going to be editing use 16 gigs of ram other wise 8. most of the time 16 isnt needed.I would get a i5 6600k instead of 6700k
You should save a little bit more and get a 1080

No it isn't. I personally have a 144hz, and when I'm getting 60 FPS it feels horrible (my pc doesn't drop to that, but if I lock my framerate to that).

I have a 960 and I get 300fps while recoding with shaders :P 1070 is fineMy CPU is a lil faster but should be good for 1000+fps on good practice servers, 600-900 on here.
