It's not because they destroyed Hitler that it means they are good. How does that make a murdering tyrant who kills another murdering tyrant a good person?
The difference is that Hitler killed ethnic groups and Stalin etc made political murders happen.
If you don't know that they were tyrants and bad people then you don't know a lot. The Soviet Secret police also killed a lot of innocent people to create terror. Of course they can't be compared to Hitler, but they still are responsible for thousands of innocent deaths. Why do you think they weren't tyrannical in any way?
