That's not how it works at all. You can only see your ping to the proxy. You can't see your ping between proxy and server. So if there is 50 ping from you to proxy, then the proxy has 100 ping to the server, your ping is actually 150, even though you see 50.

no… if you get 120 ms to the EU IP and then select the EU server its the same 120 ms
if you connect to the EU IP and then select somewhere else, it adds more latency (ping) as you must connect to EU and then it will relay information from somewhere else (NA for example).
