My sister was randomly banned by GCheat earlier even though the only client she had on was Optifine. The mod who apparently looked into it denied her appeal by claiming that she was cheating even though she wasn't. It wouldn't let her reply, but it said that she could either re-appeal in a month or escalate the appeal. What does escalating the appeal mean, and how would she do it? If she escalates it, would it be looked at by an admin or someone who is able to look in the GCheat logs and see that she didn't actually have a hacked client? Guess I'll be productive to help you here.You can only escalate after a month has gone by. It'll escalate to seniors, and after that it is escalated to admins which is where it normally ends if the seniors can't figure it out, unless Archy or Gberry need to be tagged in order to find out.
In other words, Naomi can't escalate her appeal till October 17.

GCheat doesn't randomly ban people. Also you don't need a hacked client to be banned by it. It could be something as simple as a double click that you did with your mouse or something.As for escalating it, you need to wait a month before you can do that, and the evidence can be reviewed again if she claims to still be innocent.

That's a shame since it must have been something like lag causing it to register that she double clicked or something. It seemed like the mod who judged the appeal just looked at it and thought "GCheat ban, must be hacks 100%" and didn't actually look into it to see if she was innocent.

They check GCheat logs for the person and base a decision off that but if you think they are wrong then you can escalate it to admins for more advanced GCheat logs (that's how I think it's like as I watched during my time as a staff member there).
