Hey everyone. Some good work being done in the past few weeks. A lot of scramble to try and get some things back on track and hire the additional hands we believe we are going to need to work on our growth going forward. We have a long agenda of things to be going through and before the holiday season many things should fruition.Here are the highlights of what is to be expected in the next week:
1) New website navigation/forum layout. We like the new layout of the website, but there are a lot of parts that just feel like they are too big. We also don't have proper support for all screen sizes as some users have pointed out. In addition we think the navigation is a bit too squished and leaves us little room to expand. The forums are by far the most over sized thing on the website right now and as a result will be getting the first round of clean ups.
2) SG 2.0 Final Release. For those of you who follow us on Twitter we stated that SG 2.0 would be out this weekend. Due to some last minute design changes and some quality of life features added we are going to have to delay this one more week. In addition the new website features need to be finished to support this. I am happy to announce that clan dueling will be built into SG 2.0 as promised. In addition we will have leader boards/a ranking system for SG 2.0 as promised. The long wait for SG 2.0 is coming to an end. It is just the beginning of many new PvP game modes to come to Badlion in the near future. All of the core elements of SG 2.0 will be available for us to use in our other game modes coming.
3) The rumored CTF game mode and more importantly money tournament are right around the corner. We already have most of the maps designed, and we have things put together for public and competitive gameplay. The features missing at the moment are the core game of capturing flags, overtime handling, and the matchmaking system to allow parties and solo players to join public queues. We are expecting this to be out sometime in the beginning of October with a tournament to be held at the end of October. The dates might change a little bit but they should be close within the times suggested in this post. The tournament will be 5v5 as our last one was. Players who wish to participate should start figuring out groups of people they might be interested in forming teams with.
4) A new matchmaking system for UHC Meetup/SG 2.0 (soon to be live). The existing matchmaker was a very fast written implementation that does not properly try to find larger games. It finds the minimum players and then if you are lucky you get more players. I have rewritten this system to properly find the minimum number of players and then spend an additional 30 seconds trying to find more players. This means UHC Meetup games should start having more players per round and SG 2.0 matches will hopefully fill up to the max 24 slots still.
5) UHC Factions. This is an entirely new concept. We are trying to make a more long standing UHC server rather than trying to make a Factions server with a UHC kit. Effectively it is a team of 5 UHC that has a 3 week map/lifetime. More information can be found in the linked announcement post. This is really a community driven effort. We can't sell lives as Mojang has informed us this is not ok with the EULA recently. We are completely open to community feedback/ideas for this server and what we can sell to help it sustain itself as well.
I just wanted to spend a bit of time elaborating on the bigger things above. Below is the complete list of changes/fixes to the network.

thats not an issue. badlion doesnt have an infinite amount of gold 3 players to match you with every single time you queue
