Having all the really fancy elo system wasnt that good of an idea. The reason why I say this is because I see that barely anyone is going to make it up to masters in one season. Either we have to extend the seasons longer so that people have time to or we should revert back to the old elo system. It was way more simple. Yes the new ranking system looks alot nicer. But everyones goal back then was 2k and alot of people thought Danteh or Tylarzz could make is up to 3k elo which would be a big hype. But let me expand my point, imagine this a Diamond 1 player, who is trying to get to masters. If he loses to a Emerald 1, he probably loose 213 rating. But every ranking is 1000/1000 rating to rank up, so if the player looses 213 rating, then he would have 787/1000, so to gain that back that rating he would have to fight diamond 3-2, but that wont be a common thing. Master Ranking is pointless to add it when it wont happen, because the that means you would either have to have many diamond 1 players or have a 50+ winning streak. The only elo was more logically, when 2k was a prime goal and so was number one of the leader board. But now its just 1st place on the leader board. Master ranking is not going to happen unless you increase the rating gain.
