Ok so I heard a few people like @Jahmyr I think who said that it's useless to practice if you don't practice the right way. I've been playing for about 3 months and yet my skill has changed only a teeny bit. What's the "right" way to practice to quickly became a god?Posted on 23 September 2016 - 06:55 PM
i dont think there is a way to practice and quickly become a godjust keep going. watch danteh or other uhc youtubers if thats your thing

This game is largely about strategy, pot, uhc, bow, everything uses strategy to some extent. What you want to do is identify the different tactics people use in any gamemode with a keen eye and sort of work it into your existing "folder" of strategies. This will form the base of your skill that will continually improve as you get better and more efficient at executing them.
By strategies i don't mean knowing when to cave or manipulating your opponent, I mean literally everything that you do specifically in any situation, such as rod tricking.

All you have to do to "practice" right is to try to win as much as possible in matches, even if you are at 1 heart and the other person is at 10 hearts, you have to keep trying. the same thing goes for all sports and games in existence. Can't really do much about my equipment. I need a good clicking mouse because mine's has a lot of resistance and my mousepad is small

Aim, CPS, and Ping is all that this game is. I click fast, I can aim, but don't have that good of a ping but can still get to Emerald IV and everything else gold (excluding archer). Now the only time one of those becomes null is when we talk about ping. If you have good ping, then just be good at the other 2 and you'll be a god. If you have shit ping like me, that's when you actually need to learn how to strafe. Yes, I auto clicked to improve my aim and later on jitter clicked to enhance it. But auto clicking didn't have anything to do with me strafing.

That was a meme, if you think I was actually serious might wanna go to the doctors lol.

No, if I use a client I'm going to use an actual fucking client, not some dumb ghost client that's meant for pvp. I'll use an actual client, turn my reach up, turn my killaura to the highest settings, speed around you with ease, use blink, use teleport, use AntiKB, use projectile prediction, use bow aimbot, I'll use everything if I'm using an actual client because cheating like that is a meme. Cheating by using a ghost client is pathetic.

This game is also just fucking math. If you can do basic predictions and estimate angles as to where you're gonna strafe, you can strafe. That's literally it. If you're like me and a few others where you can actually take advantage of the game mechanics that help you strafe even better, you do that.
If people tell you to just "practice" over and over, that's like doing nothing. You'll just keep a repetitive routine. When they say practice, they mean look at your flaws in a match. Take a look at DrummerReviews, he was a fucking 1500 ELO when I played in 2014 and now he's one of the best pot pvpers around. What did he do? He improved on his flaws. He also got better internet l0l. But point being he found his flaws and got a work-around that. He can understand a basic minecraft mechanic required to strafe better and he takes advantage of that.
All depends on how strategical you are and how good you are at math l0l + aim and CPS.

I think this is spot on. add a stable fps to it and you're good to go.
