So I've been playing MC again for about 7 months and I've been using 3 as my rod hotkey ever since but I just realized an issue about it: when I hotkey to my rod I let go of my D key causing it to me difficult to strafe right sometimes. I was wondering if there any rod hotkey suggestions that'll fox this problem.Current setup:
Q=Sword 2=bow 3=rod 4=lava 5=blocks Only mouse button i can reach=lava F=gapple V(with thumb)=Ghead R=Water
Please note I've already tried my mouse button, C, V, and left alt.(The only problem with C and V is I feel my keyboard is too small for me to rest my thumb near them.)
I'll try all suggestions, Thanks!

Okay, the problem is, why the fuck do you hotkey to EVERYTHING??I'd say put your rod at 9th slot and hotkey to that with 9.

try using B instead of V if your keyboard is too small
I use 2 as rod 3 water 4 bow c/v as lava, I used to use V for rod but it gets awkward
