So today I muted for a week, because of "bad sportsmanship." So apparently saying a letter of the alphabet is considered toxic or something. The reason I said "L" was because I kited away from someone on Cubecore. "L" means "loss" but why would you get muted over saying that someone else lost? And I said "L" because the guy that was chasing me was hella annoying, and I thought his reaction would be funny. Anyway, I wasn't trying to be toxic or anything, it's like saying "get kited" or something and then getting muted. PainfulPvP said that L wasn't toxic, and it's really just a joke. If you notice on other servers, staff will even say "L". It seems pretty stupid just to mute someone for simply saying a letter of the alphabet. I can understand if someone said something along the lines of "hold that L kid", but not just L by itself. So can somebody please tell me why L is so bad?(NOTE: The punishment time is not what I don't understand considering that I've been muted before.)

Saying "L" is not "so bad", it is a 15 minute mute for the first time, but if you don't learn your lesson and keep going then it turns into a week mute like you have.

When you finish playing a "competitive" basketball game do you shake there hands saying haha "losers" "you guys lost" or haha "L"… no you don't its just rude and makes you sound ignorant. There no need to make chat toxic saying L to everyone you kill, kite away from or what ever the case may be. Just say GF, GG or nothing at all. Its server rules. It pisses people off, like you beat someone in a game do you say "L" or loser? You know you can do it because nothing will happen to you outside the game. But if you said that shit in real life if you beat them in a sport something is bound to go wrong either with you to getting into a shouting match then it goes into a fist fight. Saying that you beat someone isn't a mute from my understanding unless it's changed. Being a bad sportsman is.

I agree… a letter shouldnt be muteable cmon.k and l are so close to eachother. I bet atleast 10 guys got false muted by that.

Yeah saying L was a joke at the start but now it is just used to piss people off. What is annoying however, I'm sure many of you experience this, is when people say BIG GG or anything sarcastic.
