EDIT: THIS WOULD NOT REPLACE GCHEAT IN ANY WAYI DONT KNOW IF THIS IS EVEN POSSIBLE,BUT STILL PLEASE READ
So I dont know how to exactly post this, but for example lets say that badlion does this
You can only join the server with set file sizes in versions/mods, this sounds weird but heres what it would be:
Badlion has a page called Whitelisted Mods/Versions where it links all the mods/optifine versions and their file sizes, and if you dont have those file sizes/versions it doesnt let you join badlion and it links you to the whitelisted mods/versions website and says that it suspects of you using a cheat, if this is code-able it could block every blatant non ghost client, with ghost clients it would be more tricky because when you inject the file sizes change when ur already in badlion, maybe it would kick you if it detected a change in file sizes?
This is how it would look like, you click to join badlion with huzuni and it would say this:
We have detected that you are using a version not supported by the Badlion Network, if you are not cheating and want to play Badlion check what mods are allowed here: https://www.badlion.net/approvedmodsandversions or something like that
When you would click on the link this is what you would see:
List of approved mods/versions
All Default Versions by Mojang
Every Optifine download available right now on http://optifine.net/downloads
Then some forge versions, preferably not the ones used to be able to launch Vape/Cracked Vape, as there is a certain forge version you need to be able to inject vape, aslong as you would block that forge version and maybe make only a few of them allowed, ghost clienters would take some time to figure out how to bypass this
Now to the list of mods, this is just an example:
1.7.10:
[1.7.10]ArmorStatusHUD-client-1.27 - 26KB - Download Link
[1.7.10]bspkrsCore-universal-6.14 - 194KB - Download Link
[1.7.10]StatusEffectHUD-client-1.26 - 24KB - Download Link
CPSMod 1.1 - 10KB - Download Link
KeystrokesMod - 11KB - Download Link
OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_D6 - 1194KB - Download Link
PlayerAPI-1.7.10-1.0 - 252KB - Download Link
SaturationDisplay-1.7.2-2.0 - 39KB - Download Link
TcpNoDelayMod-1.0 - Download Link
And Finally the most important one for old ghost clients:
ToggleSneak-(1.7.10)-v3.0.5 - 22KB - Download Link
The players would be able to submit any mod they would like to become whitelisted by sending this to the admins
IGN:
Mod name they would like whitelisted:
Link to its page/download:
File size of the mod:
What is the mod for:
Just a basic idea which came to my mind, if its possible work should be put into it because thats how you can easily get rid of cheaters, if it cant well then I just wasted time of my life typing this, any feedback and what you would add on is appreciated and will be considered

I genuinely dont care about your suggestion, no ones gonna read that anywaysPosted on 09 October 2016 - 04:23 PM
Or make the players download a mod that looks through your computer and sees if there is hacked clients that are being used.Posted on 09 October 2016 - 04:23 PM

I hope it's a client side anti cheat. That would make a lot of sense since they just partnered with ESL.

Atm we can't see what version/mods someone is running, so not possible as of now. But like Archy said.
