There are 2 sexes and 2 genders (gender = sex), it is technically a mental illness, and like @Jahmyr said it's not the same as autism and such, it's a different type of mental illness - but still is one.The whole LGBTIAQWEJASKDLAIWHENSMD+21-69 thing is just silly. Being gay is one thing, being lesbian is in fact the same, being bisexual is virtually the same thing, i guess i understand LGB, but then transgender being a part of it? Not very logical. The whole point of the whole "LGB" movement was that they were sexual orientations, transgender doesn't always change your sexuality so why is it a part of this list? All in all, gay is the only word that should be in this (aka it should be G).
Anyways, these things are technically illnesses, and should be treated as such. The west has just become too nice and accepting to people believe all this nonsense (we've become soft).
My school is trying to enforce being 'gender fluid' and removing genders from our school system… Like what?? It's just insane what's happening to the world now.
At this point, there's not much we can do to stop the epidemic except stay level headed and continue to tell yourself the truth, sooner or later the world will realize what is happening and will sort them out.

TLDR most responses. Idk, I went to a treatment center for a few months this past summer for my own mental illness, and I had many trans friends there(not there for being trans ofc). I learned a lot about them while I was there, and hearing from actual trans people is really helpful in understanding their identities. Trans identity isn't really the business of anyone but transgender people tbh, kinda like how its really not anyone's business if someone's gay or not. Gender and sex are two different things, gender is personal identity, sex is physical. Many people from a young age don't feel right conforming to their biological gender and therefore identify as whatever feels right for them, and for some, it really isn't either- and that's who they are. Being transgender is unfair in sporting terms too, how are we supposed to know who belongs in womens or mens sections of each sport?

I totally agree with this.
In my opinion, being gay/lesbian is fine, but the whole gender switching part is just ridiculous.
