People will say "it's a waste of time" or "it's an invasion of privacy" or "there's GCheat and Judgement Day" or "Staff could ban them" I can prove why all these reasons are false"It's a waste of time"
It's your server with cheaters you applied and got accepted it's your job to keep the cheaters out

No it's not, there not going to ask you to go in your Pictures or Documents or anything that sever

GCheat and Judgement Day are great but don't ban every cheater

It could be false
Screenshares will reduce the amount of cheaters that actually Bypass GCheat or JD. It would be a smart move Badlion, here's the pros to screen sharing and cons of scree sharing
Pros
Staff Don't False Ban
Reduces Cheaters
Makes it more fun for legit players
Cons
May lag your PC (depending on PC or whatever computer you use)

- It is an invasion of privacy, you'll never know what photos he could accidentally put on his desktop screen and maybe his wallpaper. He could also accidentally leaked out important stuff like personal information etc on accident.

If you know what 'invasion of privacy' means then you probably won't post this. There's like other servers that screenshare and some of the mods would do anything to get ppl they don't like banned. Now staff can actually false ban on purpose, which is better in your opinion. It's not like removing cheaters will give you a higher rating anyways

No we're not going to do screen sharing. It's an invasion of privacy and a server of this size won't be able to cope with screensharing thousands of people all the time, it's better for the staff to just record and ban the cheaters.Posted on 15 October 2016 - 08:41 AM

You can delete those files, theres no way they can check. You can just use programs like PermDelete or something like that and it removes the software completely, nothing in regedit or anything. If they have a client that can bypass gcheat then it wont do much. Mods are here for a reason. Most clients that can bypass gcheat dont help much in pvp. I'm not supporting screensharing or anything, but some ghost clients can be detected by screen sharing, you can't just delete all the files before the screen share in every ghost client, it will still show up with other methods.
Screensharing can definitely help the mods find ghost clients that are too hard to see themselves and bypass gcheat.

50% of the time they would delete it in time. Hackers are not stupid. Not all of them at least. Either way, some ppl would have clients on their desktop. They're used to like cheat on other servers. If badlion supports screensharing, then it is gonna go down the same path as mcsg
