People ask me why I liked season 13 so much compared to others. The answer is:Horse was removed for that season.
Fuck whorse, it doesn't determine skill. It determines who's horse dies faster, and it's the most ping based ladder there is. The movement relies on ping. Come on, Badlion, I know this is the most competitive PvP server out there. Don't let this kit slow you down, because atm it's more than half the playerbase's least favorite. Whoever's horse dies first loses. Don't even get me started on bowspamming, because if you're on a horse and you're bowspamming the other person's horse it's already one sided. Please look into this, you answered the call in Season 13, please answer it again.

Horse was only removed for the start of season 13, then it was added back. If horse does get removed, another bow ladder should be added in its place such as advanced uhc.Posted on 16 October 2016 - 06:47 PM

The horse ladder unbelievably unbalanced and is more reliant on ping rather than skill, it's basically impossible to get on the leaderboards with 100ms+ latency because you have to guess more than actually aiming where your opponent is and your movement on the horse is absolutely fucked up.Posted on 17 October 2016 - 01:07 AM

Horse doesn't determine skill? It requires prediction, aim and dodging patterns just like every other bow ladder.It's unbalanced? How, people get the same equipment thus making it a fair kit.
It's more reliant on ping than skill? Well yeah, that's the case in any ladder.
It's impossible to get onto the leaderboards if you have high ping? Yup, just like every other ladder. Horse is one of the easier ones.

It's possible to get on the leaderboards with high ping in any ladder, just people with higher ping are generally deterred thinking they have some major disadvantage when they really don't, it's just different.
I have higher ping (130-140 ms, sometimes higher), so I kind of know.
And Kikzo, I agree horse should stay. I'm not trying to attack you, but your arguments are flawed.
In my opinion, I hate horse with a vengeance since it is more difficult with high ping, but I think it should stay because it does happen in real UHCs. ArenaPvP wasn't designed to be it's own gamemode, there's a reason it was addressed as practice for quite a while.

Then doesn't that mean you don't deserve a good global if you are bad at some ladders? Yes it does, global mmr is your overall average skill for every ladder. Like if ppl ask you your pvp skills, you would tell them your global mmr
