after I log into a server, enter a game, or finish a game, I suddenly start lagging ass and I'm basically frozen for a good two minutes. I ghost in the middle of games occasionally as well and I'm sure its not my wifi. Help?

disconnect from the wifi. Restart your computer. Re-connect to the wifi and see if that works.

yes
go into command prompt and type

Yea wrote

netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=no interface="Wireless Network Connection"

Once you do this, restart your computer because why not.

You will then open task manager and head over to the "Services" tab. Sort them by name. Look for the service "WlanSvc"
If the status of it is stopped, right click the service and start it. Once that's done, open CMD and type:

netsh wlan set autoconfig enabled=yes interface="Wireless Network Connection"

After that, check to see if it's fixed, if not go back into CMD and type:

Yea wrote

ipconfig /release

And then immediately type

Yea wrote

ipconfig /renew

After this if you continue to have lag spikes, then restart your router since you just anal'd your network settings.

NOTE: THIS NEXT METHOD MAY OR MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU.

After all that it still doesn't work, go into your web browser and in the URL bar type your IPv4 address (you'll be able to see this when you type the ipconfig commands in command prompt) and then enter your username and password (typically the username is 'admin' and the password is either 'admin' or 'password')

Go into your basic settings and check to see what channel your router is set on (might vary for what router you have, some of them this works and others don't have this option) typically the cleanest channels are 1, 6, and 11. It should say what channels are the cleanest as well. Just switch that, and apply it and then it should be working fine again.
