No. That's not how it works.Every player in Minecraft has a thing called a UUID. The UUID is a bunch of numbers, letters, and dashes that are sent to the server immediately when you log on. The UUID tells the server who you are and that's how servers keep track of ratings and rankings.
I've changed my name 4 times and have never lost a rank.
