Hello!I realize that this is a busy time for many seniors in high school. College applications are usually due by November 1st or January 1st. Many seniors are scrambling around to write essays and get recommendation letters from teachers and coaches.
My question for all of you is…
Where are you applying? Are you nervous? Why that school? Is it a good school?
And if you're applying sometime in the future, where do you want to go?
My good friend MeMyselfAndCube recently told me that he's been accepted to go to Yale. He plans on graduating in 2022, but the applications responses aren't even out yet for most people! He must've been something really special. I note this kind of talent, and I'd like to hear about the other talent around here!

Edit: I made this talking about US universities/colleges, but if you're from somewhere else, don't be afraid to tell!

@Mr_Bloxley in case you're unaware, CalPoly is fairly close minded. Me and my family are Indian, and my brother is applying to a lot of colleges, and CalPoly was on the list until we asked them if they took predicted IB grades and they said I have no clue what that is. It's a wonderful school if you're in California, but its not a very diverse school. I'm guessing you plan to study engineering?Try for some reach schools, like UC Berkley and UC LA. They're very difficult to get into, but it's worth a shot imo. You've already done the UC application for SB and Irvine and San Diego and Santa Cruz.
(Get Archy to write a letter of recommendation xD [idk if he actually does that])

I thought Archybot or MasterGBerry said that when Varicks retired, they would be happy to write a recommendation letter if he wanted, so who knows! :p
For me it is KU Leuven (first year), the biggest university of the low countries (Benelux). I never had to write a letter to get in, but you have to take a very hard test these days if you want to study medicine/dentistry

what do you do then?
There are some people at colleges with their ivy league accent that are indeed snobs but not everyone who studies is a nerd :p
edit: I dont mean ivy league universities are bad or something. I just think that the cost is ridiculously high

If you say college are for nerds…then you are the same as the typical taxi drivers or pizza boy. If you actually ask them about their past, they'll tell you about the nerds and how tough they are at school. These nerds have become better ppl today, some even become one of the richest man on earth
this is directed to chocs

Theres this thing in life. Basically if you prefer to suffer first, you'll end up succeeding at the end. However, if you enjoy first and ignore studies then you wouldn't really succeed. Good luck

Succeed when you're at mid 20s, and not just waste your time playing video games and not studying before 20s. And then end up suiciding because they are poor. Your parents wont live forever. Anyways you wont really see the point of studying until you're like 15
