This is weird but season 12 the good ol days I was 2.2k max and all in 1.8 with 6 cps. Now I am in S14 and I dont play often but I can barely maintain gold 2. I see 1900s who are emerald V now and its just weird. Tell me your input on it.

Because ELO is gone, and MMR is here, people don't understand its easier to grind, so they want to win more, which is why people bowspam and lavaspam now. Plus the average skill level is rising faster than ever.

If you keep on playing well, you should be at least Emerald III.

It will take some time for every player to get to his skill group especially with this new system, although its better, it isnt very consistent.Before if a player won a match the person that lost will lose the same amount of elo as his opponent won, but now it's different meaning you can lose more rating.It is as grindy as S12 but people will think its easier to get it and will play few matches complaining why do they have a low rank.As already mention skill level is rising, till the end of the season we should all be placed after our skill level.
