We have been trying for several months to stabilize what is currently the matchmaking services for ArenaPvP and SG on Badlion since Season 13. We cannot seem to figure out the issue that is causing such randomness in the matchmaking systems where people are getting glitched into matches or queues. As a result we have decided to just rebuild the system from the ground up using some different tools this time. Sometimes it is easier to just rewrite the system from scratch than to spend months band-aiding it and trying to fix bugs.This being said the following things are being redone in November for ArenaPvP Season 15 and SG 2.0:
1. Matchmaker service is being completely rewritten from the ground up. Trashing all of the existing code and going to start fresh
2. Adding the missing redrover feature to ArenaPvP. Was planned and never finished
3. Add the missing tournament features for ArenaPvP into the system so that players can run party tournaments and we can have automated tournaments running on Badlion ArenaPvP as well
4. Redoing how the queue counts and lobby counts are managed. No more negative counts in the lobby.
5. Tweaking the rating system to fix the lack of diamond/masters players.
6. Removing the chat lobbies from ArenaPvP and just merging each region into one massive chat for the lobby.
We think SG 2.0 is mostly in a good place at the moment. It just needs the matchmaker service fixes. We will probably patch this on SG 2.0 first and then ArenaPvP next since the SG 2.0 matchmaker is a lot simpler than the ArenaPvP one. In addition we will not want to patch the ArenaPvP one until Season 15 when we are ready to change everything together instead of just updating small pieces that are not complete one at a time.
Just a quick update as to some of the things we know that need fixing and are going to get some attention in the coming month. Lots of other great stuff on it's way though. Check the dev logs for more information (will post one later today in a bit).
Lastly UHC 6.0 is really close, and i mean really really close, and it's looking really nice :) More info coming very soon.

At the moment we want to keep the match chat as it is. You should only see the people you are playing with like in a real game environment. Not the random other people playing matches on the server. This also means you and your opponents can communicate easier without having to search in the chat for your opponent's name etc.

I personally like the current one; not much drain. But you should probably fix the 'less earned rating and more loss' bug
What I mean by that let's say A and B are both Gold 3. When A has beaten B, what's supposed to happen is A losing about 180 points and B losing about 180 points. But the bug makes A get only 130 points and B lose over 200.
