Please help. Ranking system messed up on my account??

Ive recently been unbanned on my account about 1 month ago but just started playing yesterday again. I got my placement rank (Silver 3) And got 1000 points. However when i search for a match it says ''This match will determine weather or not you will be promoted to silver 2'' But I'm silver 3 so shouldn't it be silver 4 instead ?I went on my other account and it did the same thing.

You aren't stupid, you just misunderstood. A lot of us didn't know how it went at first either.
