There should be some sort of "qualifications" to be able to play in the tournament… Like I think some players in my group hadn't even got on badlion since season 14 or even 13… It was probably just their friend that asked if they wanted to play and didn't know which date it was going to be.

I'm guessing sure the original clan requirement was to prevent this?
If it wasn't, well (for upcoming tournaments) it's a great way to at least prove that they will do the extra step to participate in the tournament and not simply, easily, leave a roster of 5 IGNs and not show up.
