Does Combo Take Skill?

So i have been fighting my friends with the kit combo and they say combo takes no skill just ping and cps. I mean i do agree but it takes more also i beat them usually, so I've been thinking does combo actually take skill or just ping cps?

No skill. Ping based and CPS based. Everything after 1.5 / 1.6 was pretty ping based.

W tapping, block hitting, cps and aim matter in that ladder. It still takes skill to become really good at it. The ladder is great for practicing your aim though, I play like 10 matches before I do ranked every day.

I click 12 CPS and a 14 CPS kid would get rekt by me. Movement counts a lot so I say yes

You don't need cps to be good. I get 3-4 and I win like every match :p

not really the only thing ping changes is th registeration of how hits and kb go nothing about changing your reach or knockback just the order of it the only thing ping actually can give you a definite advantage is the last hit if both players are a one hit the player with better ping will have a crucial advantage and cps just increases chance of a sooner registration of the hit and increases the chances of a follow up hit like a double hit

It definitely involves some aim and other basic pvp mechanics, but CPS is a very large part of it as well. You can form your own opinion on whether cps is skill or not.

It does take skill and practice to click fast and being able to aim with it, so I guess the 'clicking fast' part of combo does take some skill, but connection is a pretty big factor in this kit too.

Yeah, the way to win is by getting either 1 ms or 1000 ms
