Don't download hacked clients, keep your computer clean, don't download anything that you aren't 100% sure it's safe to use. If you think you've been infected try scanning for threats using an antivirus or even clean your computer.Basically don't be an idiot and you'll be fine.
It's virtually impossible to crack an account with a good password, so as long as your password can't be social engineered (e.g. Declan123 which is my name + numbers). Try passwordgenerator.net or just keyboard spam when setting your password - but remember to save your password somewhere, e.g. on your phone, written down (safest), or in a document.
Mojang are very good with preventing account cracking, so if you have a safe password e.g. suIODhj2kLASJdlkajIOdwidnjasmdMASudjlakdwbkJNxciXpco, they won't be able to guess it.
Make sure to never use the same password for multiple things, and to always make it one that can't be guessed. Use 2FA (two-factor authentication) on all accounts when possible. Badlion offers 2FA for forums and in-game. You can enable this by logging into your forum account, going to Settings, and follow the instructions to enable 2FA. This will enable it for both forums and in-game.
In all, if you are toxic, I doubt someone would go to the trouble as cracking accounts takes weeks if not months on a normal computer to crack it - as long as your password is secure. Don't get ratted. Don't be an idiot online, and you'll be fine.
EDIT: As mentioned, avoid screen shares are 1 - they are an invasion of your privacy, and 2 - if they look through your logs there can be sensitive information (Session Tokens, etc.)

I know back in the day when it was really popular, they used this thing called a BruteForce crack, which was basically where you put a name in and then the cracker used mojangs unlimited logins to its advantage, and tried every combination of letters and numbers until it got the password. And even this was hard. Keyloggers were often built into hacked clients that would send your passwords back to the client developer's site, and he would sell the accounts.2. Stop being toxic. This is very good advice. It's also worth noting that your Minecraft log files include your username and access token. If someone is able to gain access to them, they could temporarily use your account and possibly obtain your email address. They would not be able to play on Badlion using your account if you have 2FA enabled, however they could go on other servers.
Unfortunately you may be asked to show your logs if you are being screen shared. So try to avoid that.
