People do not realise that all these Alt shops on Twitter are killing the community. What they're doing is wrong, as they're stealing peoples' accounts, and selling them for cheap prices. I am sure someone could get Twitter to deactivate these accounts, as what they're doing should be classed as illegal.Posted on 16 November 2016 - 08:35 AM

Once again the fault is not on the shops but on the purchasers. Badlion can't do anything about this.

Still doesnt change the fact they are stealing people's accounts to sell them for cheap.

I don't see how this has anything to do with the community.Posted on 16 November 2016 - 08:47 AM

If nobody would buy their shitty accounts, they wouldn't steal them.

These accounts can be easily taken back if you have the original email, or better still, the TID. The owner of these accounts probably quit the game long ago, if they want their account back its an easy TID.
You do realise @Ew had all his 1k plus accounts rendered useless from selling on twitter. Mojang does do stuff like that. Also, I buy / sell accounts, and I don't see the problem? There are people who crack other kinds of accounts and sell them on, do we just ignore them lol

Then they get IP banned, and you can't get on with a VPN because BL has a pretty good protection against them.

It's geolocation, not IP. If you have a dynamic IP, of course you could bypass BL. It works off of geolocation of said IP's to see if they're connected.

I bought two alts from one of those guys once. One got turned into a demo and the other one got reclaimed by the owner or some shit. Never again.Posted on 16 November 2016 - 03:15 PM

My friend bought an account for 99 cents off an Alt Website and it had a 2011 and 2012 minecon cape worth 400+ dollars LolololPosted on 16 November 2016 - 03:22 PM
To be honest, it's a choice for people to buy alts, not everyone cheats.Posted on 16 November 2016 - 04:28 PM
I agree with this a lot. If somebody were to right a proper message to someone who can do something that might be a good start.
