DNS? [Staff Pls]
Heyo, so I was just thinking… alot of people say DNS is illegal.
But my computer cannot connect to the internet at all without a DNS, and most people's computers (including mine) come with default DNSs built in.

So a lot of skids are saying DNS is illegal/bannable, but I honestly think that's stupid, because without DNS I wouldn't even be able to connect to the internet :/

People's thoughts?

No.

Nononononono.

You've got so many things wrong.

Yes, everyone has a default DNS. People CHANGE the DNS server they use to get better connections. The thing is, connecting to a DNS does absolutely nothing to video games. The only benefit of connecting to a better DNS server is to make your web browser load faster/better. It doesn't affect ping in any way, and it certainly does not affect kb and hit detection in Minecraft, therefore it's not illegal. It's completely pointless to change/use DNS servers.

Thank you, everyone's been saying they're illegal.
and I'm like: "Kappa, if you wouldn't be able to tell me they were illegal if you weren't using them."
