Like all of the other questions about mod roles. I am also interested about applying for moderator in the future. Will mods even be needed? Will mods get free access to Badlion Premium or is there going to be a discounted fee? Will there be a whole new set of moderators for Premium? Also, about the new features coming in 2017, there is one feature I am very excited for, and that's the new server locations. For someone who has medium-level ping like me and it's very unpredictable because you can sometimes get good hits one day, then whiff everything the next day. Are the new locations [Ex: Chicago, LA, Texas (I think that's one)] going to just be for Badlion premium?Last edited on 25 November 2016 - 05:18 PM by Unwise

I believe moderators will still be necessary for Badlion Open, which will almost undoubtedly exist long into the future.
Mods instantly get free Badlion Plus and get Badlion Premium after three months on the staff team. This was answered in the original pricing post, I believe.
Only administrators will be able to ban Premium users. It's unclear how mutes will work as of yet.
EDIT: As for the locations, Frankfurt/Chicago/Sao Paulo/Sydney will all be public, and the rest will be premium only.

Very surprised at the clean slate move for Badlion Premium, but it makes sense. Let's hope we all make badlion premium the best thing ever (y)Posted on 25 November 2016 - 05:18 PM

Ok so if someone's banned there's no appealing? Also, what if for some reason the client side anticheat false bans (I don't think it will but this is just speculation) you aren't able to try to contact the staff to get it fixed via forums?

If there were a case of a false ban we would be very quick to find out about it. The new anti-cheat system does extensive logging and properly categorizes any cheats detected. We would be able to go and reverse anything, although based on the amount of time and money that both ESEA and ESL have poured into this technology for the past 15 years, i have no doubt we will be fine :)

Wait so you made it so that anybody that got banned from Badlion open can buy and play Badlion premium right? or is it that every 700,000 + accounts that got banned got unbanned and got offered a second chance?
