I have been playing badlion for awhile, and i notice theres no rule on "spam".1. Fishing rod: Fishing rods i know are for pvp and "help". But players are abusing this by spamming it if there low and the other player cant hit them. Whats the point of duelling if this is all players are going to do. Like for ranked matches if they do this its a auto win. The point of pvp is to be able to have fair fights… SPAMMING isn't fair.
2. Bow: Aw yes the bow.. The bow is there for LONG range attacks. BUTTTT players are using it for short range and spamming.. MUCH like the fishing rod and i mean MUCH!!! Its knock the players back about 2-3 blocks and people spam that (3 arrows a second, Thats over 180 arrows a minute).
These rules are found on more/less popular pvp/minigame pvp servers.. (outdated/dated info here) Such as GodPvP, Mineplex, Hypixel, MCgamer, and more. And yes i do know that this thread will either be deleted or not looked at because its maybe a rant or nothing at value..

Even if this was implemented there is no way to tell if someone is spamming. If someone gets repeatedly hit by a bow that was FULLY DRAWN BACK, that's a lot of spamming reports. Also what if someone's playstyles was using the rod a lot. That's like telling someone to stop using the rod it feels weird and they play worse. While Mojang's allowance of these things is flawed (Especially Fishing Rods), while it exists in the game it is a legitimate tactic and we do not punish for using strategy so long as it isn't doesn't prolong the game or abuse glitches. (So in other words, don't run out pots.)I really do hate the fishing rod tactic though.
