In a way to reduce cheater. My reasoning behind this is that why pay to go on a server just to have the chance to get banned on? That or they just want money.

Ik Lounge is doing it for the money, they were supposed to release in August. They're just trying to get as much money as possible for, whitelists.

It's to reduce hackers and server is still not stable for large amounts of players yet, it's in the making, this server is a merge of Sarefine and Voltix, since the server isn't as big as badlion or other larger server, it takes more time to get everything adjusted
