concerned about badlion premium
1. texture packs, the client side anti cheat is for 1.8 and most packs are for 1.7.10 and have bugs when used in 1.8
2. the amount of players will prob be like 400 to 500 which is not much

I have personally never experienced bugs when using packs with 1.8, and in any case, it will act just as if it's 1.7.10; it's based off of it. All of the combat code has been hardcoded to be exactly like 1.7.10s combat, but will still work with other servers.

yeah but when you use 1.7 texture packs (like dynamic duo) and use them in 1.8 they get broken, like the pickaxe etc

yep its 1.8 but its coded to have all the 1.7.10 animation and hit detection

I have never had an issue with a 1.7 pack in 1.8…

It honestly doesn't matter as either I or another admin will be approving packs

Thats what we mean Archy… The enchant glint looks awful and the items are positioned so weird. Can't the way 1.8 handles texture packs be reverted too on the Badlion client ?…pls

I mean that looks like incorrectly done textures, as all my texture packs don't have this issue.

I'll have it looked into it, can't guarantee it'll make it in the first beta though.
